Default Willona

Hey, everyone knows that I love Willona's clothes; and I was curious and also I am bored out of my mind at this moment so I decided to ask ardent Good Times Fans what was their favorite Willona Woods'wardrobe?...Was there a particular item of clothing that you remember most that Willona wore...It can be outrageous from her selective array of wigs to the funky threads that were hip for the 1970's...

I remember the scarf she had tied around her head. Valerie Harper on Rhoda wore a scarf the same way. That was totally a 70's attire!

Scarves were a big fashion item for the early to mid-1970's; personally I thought the look was pretty cool and Willona looked gorgeous with her hair underneath a scarf...

There is a couple of items of clothings that I thought were pretty funky ; the first outfit was a multi-colored, patch worked designed top that she wore on Florida the Matchmaker episode, and the second was a Gypsy deisgned blouse and skirt with matching turbon from a later season...

Yeah..I liked about 90% of her outfits before she became more conservative when Penny became her daughter...

I was watching the first season DVD a couple of nights ago; and there was this particular episode where Willona was wearing this really cool demin jacket with brown suede, which she wore with jeans, even for 1974, it was a pretty nice looking outift, that people could wear even today..I am looking forward to see what outfits that Willona is wearing during the 3rd season of Good Times...

Some of her wigs were pretty nice, and some were just down right funky

Just picked up season 1 and 2 last night. Yeah, it’s funny because some of the clothes would still be cool today.

Also I noticed that it’s hard to get the DVD’s out. I almost snapped one DVD in half just trying to pry it from the case. Anyone else have this problem?
