hey i post on the boy meets world, threes company, and the 8 simple rules board and i've never posted on this board. So i dont know if this topic had come up before but has anyone noticed that in the beginning of the show jesse says his last name is cochran..but i could of sworn that it was a diff. last name. it was a greek name, something like strapopolous( not spelled correctly).

am i right or am i wrong? help me out with this one.

You are right for the most part. In the first season Jesse's last name was Cochran, but then changed to Katsopolis, why they did that I don't know.

I've read that John Stamos wanted to change Jesse's last name to better reflect both his and Jesse's Greek heritage.
