Who Would Be The All-Time Best Coach For Any Team in The Major Sports Leagues?
For hockey, I would say Scotty Bowman was the all-time best coach for the NHL. And Phil Jackson would be the all-time best coach for the NBA. For the NCAA (Football) I would say Lou Holtz was the best coach.
I'm not too familer with MLB, NFL, or CFL.  But feel free to post your all-time best coach for each sports league.

NBA=Rick Carlisle (Pacers)
 NFL=Tony Dungy (Colts) MLB=Ron Gardenhire (Twins) Rick Carlisle because he lead the Pacers to the best record in the NBA (and hopefully an NBA championship  ).Tony Dungy because he nearly lead the Colts to the Superbowl and made them consistant winners. Ron Gardenhire because he has taken a relatively small market team and turned them into winners (winners of AL Central Division the past 2 years), into the playoffs last year and one step from the World Series the year before. And yes, these are my favorite sports teams.
