Cool Prop goofs.

Does anyone notice prop goofs on Wings? I generally don't pick up on things like that unless they're really major or noticeable. I definitely notice the drawing board in Taming of the Shrew.

This wasn't left in the final print, but a while ago they had "goof-up" outtakes from "Wings" on one of those "Blooper" specials.....

They showed a clip where Helen and Joe were in Joe's office, and Helen had to show or tell Joe something very secretive. She tried to pull down the window shade on Joe's office door....and the shade just wouldn't stay down. It kept flying back up and Crystal kept having to pull it back down....and she kept getting more frustrated and laughing harder every time it happened!

I always keep an eye out for things in the background to see if they are consistent, like clocks on the wall, or something like that.

I did also notice one of the other Wings "goofs" that is mentioned over at tvtome, and that was the episode where Lowell has a map in his hands, and he is going to spread it out on Joe's desk. He knocks ALMOST everything off the desk, then when they show him spreading out the map, EVERYTHING is off the desk.

Being a license plate collector, I always watch them in the movies as well. In Jumanji, there is a scene where the police car crashes into the tree, and another scene later in the movie where the police car crashes into the hardware store. In these two scenes, the license plates have different numbers.

I also remember an old video from my teenage years, they order pizza and give a house number to the pizza company, then when the delivery boy shows up, you can see the house number on the house, and it is not the same

I noticed that one too. In fact, it looked to me like the clock that Joe said Lowell knocked over didn't even fall off at first. Did anyone else see that?

I loved Lowell's line, "Why, Joe Hackett! Antonio's life is in danger and all you care about is a dumb clock? If you weren't my boss, I'd slap you!"

Honestly, "Taming of the Shrew" was the only goof I really noticed (the chalkboard) ... but then the other night I was watching "Is That a Subpeona in Your Pocket?" and Joe was in his office with nothing really on his desk. Brian grabs a phone book or something and the desk falls over.

Then later Helen comes in, picks up a crystal airplane off Joe's desk and threatens to break it. I was thinking, hey, that crystal airplane wasn't there earlier when Brian made everything fall of the desk!

Love,

Wing<><
