Ron Artest of Indiana Pacers was suspended for one game yesterday cause he came off the bench in game 1 against Boston but he didn't go out on the court when Jermaine O Neal & Brandon Hunter were about to get into it. Charles Barkley & Ernie Johnson debated this issue last night on TNT. Charles said he thinks the rule is stupid that a player shouldn't leave the bench when his teammate gets into a fight with somebody. Charles said the players on the bench should be able to help their teammates out in a fight. Richard Jefferson jumped off the bench when Jason Kidd & Frank Williams got into it in game 1 but he didn't leave the bench area. Charles & Kenny Smith were like Richard did the same thing Ron did so what's the difference which i agree with. Ron Artest got a funny shaped head LOL. Ya'll notice how his head is shaped funny at the top? He needs a damn haircut. I don't see how players are making all this money but their hair is nappy & long. Michael Olowakandi need a haircut too.

How does this rule relate to homosexuality?
Anyway, a rule is a rule. He got suspended and deserved it. Even he agrees he messed up and shouldn't have done it. Just let the players on the court settle their disputes. |

Well what i meant to say is that the rules are wack. I also don't like the fact that the NBA prolonged the first round of the playoffs where teams have to win 4 games out of 7 instead of winning 3 games out of 5. Now they're talkin about changin the rule where a basketball player has to be at least 20 yrs old to play in the NBA cause people feel there are a lot of young players that aren't ready for the NBA. Lebron James is a exception.

I like 3 out of 5 first round series also. It is all about extra revenues.
I can't wait for the second round, when the better teams play, and hopefully the Spurs bitch slap the Lakers again. Instead we have to wait two weeks for the next round. Thank you David Stern! Though while I am in favor of 3 of 5 first round series for the NBA, I first must admit I am a Yankee fan so I might be a little bias, I think MLB first round series should be extended to best of 7, because of how easier it is in baseball than basketball for the inferror team to beat the supperor team. But that is an arguement for another day. |

I don't know if the Spurs are gonna beat the Lakers this yr. The Lakers have Karl & Gary now so it's not the same team from last yr. I can't believe Shaq only scored 7 points yesterday. 7 points? That's horrible. Kobe scored 36. Kobe at times makes me shake my head cause when Shaq is open, he doesn't even give him the ball. There were a few times yesterday when Shaq was wide open & Kobe didn't even look for him. Kobe is the type of player that he only looks out for himself & he won't win many championships playing like that. When Shaq retires & if Kobe decides to stay a Laker, he's gonna realize how much he needs Shaq.

The 4 outm of 7 game series rule isn't really a bad thing. Now we get to watch more of our teams in the playoffs. |
