Spin-Off Sitcom : "Truly Rebecca"
"Truly Rebecca" aired after Cheers ended.
Rebecca Howe (kirstie alley) quit Cheers and moved to New York City. Rebecca was engaged to Don at the end of Cheers, but it never went much further. Rebecca left Don at the alter, she was too afraid of commitment, that was why she left Boston. Rebecca met a man, Gavin Phelps (Tim Allen). Gavin and Rebecca fell in love. Two years later, they got hitched. Rebecca never really loved Don, but she loved Gavin (maybe because of his money). Gavin and Rebecca had no problems getting Rebecca pregnant, but had trouble keeping the baby. Rebecca had a total of four miscarriages, until she had her firstborn, Celeste Howe-Phelps. Rebecca works at Bloomingdales with her new best friend, Paula Stevens (Fran Drescher). Guest Stars Include: Ted Danson, Woody Harrelson, Rhea Perlman, John Ratzenberger, and George Wendt all as their characters on Cheers. pilot: was Rebecca and Gavin's wedding. Carla, Cliff, Sam, Woody, and Norm appeared |
