So why was this kid disqualified? I started watching AI2 around when...Kim Caldwell got voted off I think. So I don't know, and I've read about it a lot before but it never explains why so I was wondering if any of you knew. Thanks

I think he got disqualified because he had been arrested previously

He was kicked off because he was to appear in court on the same day that Idol was to air (Disco week) for charges of beating up his own sister!

Yeah, and in Simon's book, he says that the only reason they didn't fault him during the background checks was because the policed mispelled his name

It was just as well. He didn't sing all that great.

Yep, and as a result, no one got voted off that week.

Yeah, Trenyce and Carmen were in the bottom 2 that week.. and we never found out who would've really gotten eliminated... hmm mystery..

Yah, the only reason why they decided not to kick another person off was so they could still make it in time for May Sweeps.

I wanna say Carmen because her voice wasnt as good and Trenyce did make it a little further and she did, but I think it wouldve been Trenyce.

Yeah, and also, at that week, everyone found out about Trenyce's arrest 4 years ago, which hurt her a bit.
