Sad I'll be a woman when I get back

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, good night.
I hate to go and leave this pretty site.

Come Monday I will no longer be living here. We're moving to Parsonsfield Maine *spits* and my Dad will either be taking the computer up tomorrow or Tuesday (though unfortunatly, probably tomorrow). I have no idea when we'll get the internet hooked back up. Could be a couple days, a week, or even a month (meangya Id start foaming at the mouth). I'll be on the rest of the night and early tomorrow morning though. Just thought Id let everyone know that I didnt disappear off the face of the Earth or whatever. I'll be bitching and moaning til my Dad gets the internet hooked back up, but since we're so busy moving and everything, I dont know how long it will take. Ha, watch it be like a day and this thread would be pointless. Hope its not too long, I have an avatar and sign. to keep up with! Well, since I have to get transfer papers tomorrow at work (I really dont want to leave there), I still have to work the rest of my schedule this week, even though we wont be here. So from Wednesday til Saturday I'll be staying at Amandas. If given, I'll pop on here at her house from time to time. Baah Im gonna miss posting Tuesdays & Wednesdays about American Idol. When I get back here, I dont want 7438392 threads to catch up on, so keep the posting to a mininum.

Good luck Crystal, and don't be away too long. The board needs you. Now go be a Maine hick. j/k

If you can, stop in at the Overlook Hotel and see if Jack Torrance is hanging around.

Hurry back.

The Overlook Hotel was the big hotel in the movie, The Shining, and Jack Torrance was Jack Nicholson's character.

Heeeeeeere's Johnny!

For some reason I have the theme song from Green Acres playing in my head.
Green Acres is place to be.
Farm living is the life for me.
Land spreading out so far and wide...
Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside....

I feel like Jethro from the Beverly Hillbillies. Minus the big mansion.

I don't know, but you sure have me curious. I may research it out tomorrow. Stephen King most likely conjured it up in his morbidly genius mind. It was definitely a real hotel. I'm just wondering where it really was. He sets a lot of his stories in Maine.

Say hi to Jack for me. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

That movie scares me to this day.

Lol, I thought Crystal was going to go away with her boyfriend somewhere and become a woman, if you know what I mean.

Good Luck Crystal!
Maybe you'll even have to climb up a pole to answer the telephone!

Lol. I thought of something totally different too when I first saw the thread...

Crystal, your dad better not take a month to get the internet going! When I moved last September, it took my dad over a month to get it back, and I about died. Hope you'll like the place you're moving to. So it's like Hooterville, huh? That'll be interesting.
