Sad Jamie

Okay really people your saying Jamie "Pisses you off" She's "ugly" "Looks nothing like Jo" and "Can't act"

I gotta ask,
you saw less then two mins of the movie how can somone pisses you off? I'm an actor and I couldn't tell if someone could act or not act in that perioud of time.

I happen to think she's pretty, besides LOOKS ARN'T EVERTHING. I know almost everyone here wanted to play that role, HOW MANY OF YOU LOOK LIKE NANCY? You can't nessisarly find someone who like excaly like Nancy, the girl who played her in a flashback in "In My sisters Shadow" (Is that the name?.. I can't remember..) didn't look a whole lot like her but looked enough to get the role. How would you like it if you were playing the role and people were calling you ugly? Who says the role has to be atractive?

A casting directer cast her in the role, she obviously had somthing that got the CD's attention.

It's obvious that you all are jeleous and are going to rip this poor girl to shreads no matter what. Why not rip Tooties daughter to shreads while your at it?

well you actually have a point...I know I was wrong to say she "couldn't act" and I know why I said that. I said it because it was the um, shock of seeing her say "Why is everyone staring at me?" (or whatever she said) so erm, sweetly. Yea, saying it so sweetly. I'm used to Jo being so sarcastic and tough, and I think everyone is used to that. I sorta expected her to be like Jo b/c well after all she IS Jo's daughter...but...well I think yall get my point

I might have been alittle harsh,
but if the directer wanted her to be tough he/she would have told her to do so. It's not the actresses fault. I see where you would want Jamie to be like Jo but the writer/dir might not have wanted her that way. I dunno, it was one line who knows what will happen. (Although it doesn't sound like the kids are a huge part of the story line)

I don't think she's that bad. I don't what you all are talking about.

She looks like Nancy did, and I don't think her acting's half bad, for a Sunday night TV movie. (And I do know acting. )

I'm just mad that they replaced Rick!

I have no problem with the actress that plays Jamie. I thought she was pretty good. They didnt replace Rick did they? I wonder why Lisa didnt put pictures of him in her Journal.

I agree with Karli that she sounds so much sweeter than Jo. I don't think she looks like her all that much, but that's ok cuz I don't look like my parents very much at all either.

I had a thought about the Rick thing. Well, since IMDB or whatever it was listed Scott Bryce as Rick, then chances are he'll be in the movie. But assuming the footage we saw was just a rehearsal, that guy could have been a stand-in.

Good points everyone. While I can't speak for everyone, I don't dislike her in a serious way. Like, I know that my *small* dislike of Jamie isn't based on the actress or how she does/doesn't look like Jo. It's just kinda a fun "Grrr" in her direction. At least those are my directions. I sincerely hope no one actually *hates* her, especially since we've barely seen her. That's my two cents

Jamie is Jo and Rick's daughter.
