How many of you have seen the movie Swimfan? I skipped this movie when it played at the theaters because I heard that it was a poor imitation of Fatal Attraction though set in high school. Though Fatal Attraction in really no more than a remake of Play Misty For Me, but I've still always liked it. Also being nearly 28 I tend not to be all that interested in high school movies anymore, with the exception of the ones I grew ip on like The Breakfast Club. However, I watched Swimfan on cabel the other day and I really ended up liking it quite a bit. The strange thing is that I actually felt sorry for Madison at the end? Did anyone else feel this way?

I saw half of it. What happened to Madison in the end? It was a little scary, I have to admit.

Madison ties Amy up and drops her into the pool. When (I forgot the guy's name) tries to save Amy, Madison begins hitting him with some sort of pool tool. To defend himself he pulls Madison in the pool. Madison drowns because she could not swim. I felt sorry for Madison because she had suffered some sort of terrible accident and that is why she was the way she was.

Different, yet interesting. The acting is mixed, but the actress who plays the stalker does a good job. Another memorable character is her brother, who helps the main character uncover the plot. Although certaintly no Star Trek as far as dramatic movies go, this one is at least a slight bit above average.
