Yeah I just heard on Letterman that Times Square is 100 years old.

So I dug up some pics of things that have happened through the years there.

Happy Birthday Times Square!

It has changed alot. I have seen it at it's low points, and it is a wonderful place now.

Thx you guys.

I have been to New York pre 9/11 and I remember seeing the twin towers and the statue of liberty. But I didn't get a chance to go to Times Square. Maybe next time.

I was in NY on a school trip in 99 and I never saw WTC and I wish I had now I never will

it's one of my biggest regrets

We stayed in NJ and went to Six Flags which IMO sucked big time LOL and my cousin who went with me and I got in the bus hours before everyone else did.

Then the next day we went to NY and mainly went to a little mall they had and The Statue of Liberty and I remembered it was really foggy that day and the weather was horrible and I didn't even look at WTC. Stupid me!

Well MandieR1980, hopefully when the new one is built you can go and visit that one and the memorial to those who died in the towers.

Cool I have a framed pic of one like the first one and it has lights on it that light up. I'm waiting for this room to get painted so I can put it up.
