Just when I thought "Hollywood Crapola" was gone forever...
From the IMDB: Hot celebrity couple Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are so desperate to star together in the same movie, the actress has asked her Charlie's Angels pal Drew Barrymore to find a suitable script for them. Diaz, 31, was so impressed with her beau's acting skills on the set of his debut movie Edison, she's now sought the advice of producer Barrymore. A close friend of the couple says, "Cameron has spoken to Drew as a friend and because she's such a hot shot producer. Justin has really impressed Cameron with his keenness to get into film, and they both said how great it would be to do something together. Drew think's it's a great idea and she's promised to help." Edison is currently filming in Toronto, Canada, and is due out next year. Oh boy! I was wondering when "Gigli II" was going into production!

Cameron Diaz is the highest paid actress in Hollywood, or that's what I've read. I guess that gives her clout in casting, but Justin Timberlake had better prove he has the right stuff in acting if any studio is going to sink millions into a joint venture for the lovebirds.
I think the higher ups, including Drew Barrymore, may wait to see how his debut film, Edison, does at the box office before any offers are put forth his way. |

I don't know what Jennifer is up to these days, but I don't think Ben Affleck's career is ruined. He jokes about Gigli in interviews and talk shows.
I think Ben is going to have a very long career in films. He'll have his ups and downs, like all actors, but I wouldn't count him out.

I have never been a fan of Cameron Diaz and her work, and for the life of me I can't understand why she make 20 million a picture, but she has made some high profile pics, and you can't deny that she's a bankable star. But, starring in a project with her popstar boyfriend is career suicide. |
