Default Keith's statement after he found out he couldn't play football-LOL

Keith was upset when he found out he could no longer play football and he was looking out the Evans window and said

"I thought i was going to be living in a penthouse on Lakeshore drive overlooking the ocean,

"Now I will just see the alley with BOOKMAN's underline on a Clothesline"-LOL!!!!

Default yeah...

...and he kept his ass there, didn't he. And he also made himself out as "one of them", driving a cab. I never thought tripping over a photographer (JJ) would end his career. I laughing as I'm typing this, but he must've torn both ligaments.

There's no ocean view on Lakeshore Drive just a lake view! That's a stupid scenario, him tripping over J.J. ruining his career, marrying his sister and living in his apartment! I could have done better than that when I was a child!!

Yeah i meant lake view. But yeah that was a dumb scenario. Actually keith had two different falls because in the teaser for Part 2 he falls differently-lol. I guess they reshot the fall for the teaser

Could Keith do nothing else besides play football? He seemed able bodied enough when I watched him on the show. He was by far my least favorite character.

I think they hired him for his sex appeal to make all the devoted, female Good Times viewers excitied...

Ben Powers may well have been cast just for his looks and to draw female viewers because he hasn't done anything since.

All I remember about that guy were his Peter Falk and Bogart impressions and his appearances on a lot of game shows around the time he was on Good Times.

I've actually seen Keith in two episdoes since GT. He was in an episode of Laverne and Shirley. Carmine had went to New York, hoping to make it big, or something like that. The guy he made friends with at the talent place WAS Keith. He was clean-shaven, and was wearing a wig, but I recognized his voice. And the credits said so afterwards. I also remember from an episode of Gimme a break, playing Nell's ex. After that, he disappeared.

What a beautiful couple; he and Nell Carter..I always thought Nell had such a beautiful face and even though Ben Powers was not the greatest of actors and was not much of a highlight on Good Times, as I stated before he was attractive...

Just an observation: Keith looked more like Michael's brother than J.J.
