It was like seeing Hunnicut and Hawkeye back in action, too bad the networks don't see it that way. John Hannah (The Mummy) and William Fichtner (Go, Contact, and Black Hawk Down) were unforgettable as sexy renegade 30+ docs in the inner city San Francisco hospital Mission "The Mish" General. ABC screwed viewers over when they pulled the serial off life support despite the the positive reception from viewers and even more insulting played the name game w/the show title. First it was slated as The Oath, then Meds but they had to change it b/c Presidio Med came out on the CBS schedule, and finally settled for MDs. It's nice how the CGI designers put the opening sequence on their website, but you can't DL it (Montgomery Co.). 8 of the 13 taped eps were broadcasted, yet another blow so if anyone would like to sign my petition to Bring MDs To DVD please feel free. Or if you happen to have these on VHS lying around and would like to make a trade or work something else out, PLEASE e-mail me!
