After waiting several weeks for new episodes of "Smallville," the patient viewers are rewarded with a new ep tonight...

then an announcement that NEXT WEEK is the Season Finale!

What a crock!

False alarm. The season isn't over yet, but that night they did play an announcement that said that the season finale was the following week.

To get you back up to speed, DetectiveGriffin, Lex doesn't trust his dad, and Clark is still getting jerked around by Lana.

Pete and Lana are leaving Smallville and Lionel's going to jail. Next weeks show is the cliffhanger and it looks great.

Yeah it should be good. Probably not as downbeat as last season's finale, but I'll be watching.
