Does anyone else really love Fraiser's "Coco Chanel" sofa from his apartment? I adore it and I wish I could get one...I hear they are very expensive though. Sigh. I wonder what's happened to that sofa now the show's over...

Im not sure about the couch.
But about "the chair".... Im not sure where, but I do remember hearing that the Smithsonian will eventually have it. This could or could not be true. But the bad part is -- the original chair was destroyed in the episode where Frasier knocks off the balcony. On the VH1 thing they said that it was the actual chair that they dropped. Too bad.... |

I love that sofa... although I'm still amazed at how good it looks since Niles accidentally set fire to it in "The Three Valentines!" And Frasier never knew a thing! I actually like all of Frasier's furniture... well Martin's chair? Not so much, but I'd love to be able to walk into his apartment... Just once!

Of the couch? I think I would. The actual one seems a little stiff to me. With the angled back, it looks a little uncomfortable. It also appears to be furnature for showing rather than using. The couch in Frasier looks so much more comfortable. I would take the replica.

But, Andrea, two things Frasier pointed out about "the chair": First, it's comfortable (at least while one is under the influence of painkillers!), and second, when you sit in it, you don't have to look at it!
I kind of like that chair, it's almost like another character! LOL

I have an old recliner that I sit in that is soooo comfortable! It was my dad's before he died and I inherited it. It is old and stained but oh my God, it's amazing. I don't care what it looks like. I fell asleep in it once and woke up feeling rested. It really shouldn't matter what Martin's chair looked like, it was comfortable and he loved it. Martin wasn't the only one who sat in that chair and liked it.
