I like her music, but yes, the way she dresses is a little over the top. I mean, I know she's an adult and all, but she should think about how lots of young girls look upto her or maybe idolize her, not that I ever understood idolizing anyone.

Avril's pretty much dead now. Her fling in the smmer of 2002 was pretty much the only time she was ever really big.

well, let's see how the new cd does. Not every artist is like Britney and keeps releasing an album one at a time and keeping in the public eye.

I don't like Avril, but I don't see why she is dead because she took a break between albums. Christina was out of the public eye for a year and a half before she re-emerged, and she was just as big as ever when she returned

As for Avril... I actually think she still has some life left in her career. Judging by "Don't Tell Me" it seems like she didn't try to branch out that much and stood in her safe zone, I'm sure most of her Let Go era fans will appriciate that.

I didn't call your precious Christina a wannabe singer I called Avril, Hilary duff etc wannabe singers. I said that I wished Christina would go away.

I know Christina can sing I'm just sick of her and the way she presents herself.

If you don't like someone for a certain reason then turn the channel off. It's really as simple as that.

Even though i dont like Avril much... but its good that the gap between the 2 albums wasnt too big. Vanessa Carlton has sure taken a long break. and remember Natalie Imbruglia ("Torn") from 1998? It took her 4 years to release another album, which didnt do too well, sine everyone forgot about her.
