THEY'LL BE BACK: ABC has renewed Hope & Faith, Extreme Makeover, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, According to Jim, My Wife and Kids, George Lopez and America's Funniest Home Videos for next season. Noticeably absent from ABC's pick-up list: 8 Simple Rules. The net previously announced that NYPD Blue would return in the fall for a 12th and final season, albeit sans leading lady Charlotte Ross.

If you are Fans of According to Jim My Wife and Kids George Lopez & Hope & Faith at least they could relax now as of 8 Simple Rules Not yet

8 Simple Rules will be back:

ABC has given full season orders for next year to three of its newest primetime deliverers - Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Extreme Makeover and Friday night comedy Hope & Faith; as well as now veteran series My Wife & Kids, According to Jim, George Lopez and America's Funniest Home Videos. Also coming back next season is NYPD Blue and 8 Simple Rules has a good chance to come back. Those still wondering if their dance card will be full next season are: Life With Bonnie, It's All Relative, I'm With Her, Less Than Perfect, The Big House and Married to the Kellys. Possibly two of those will return. Also left in the ? column is Alias, though expectations are high for that one.

I wonder why it hasn't been renewed yet? ABC ordered extra episodes, so I thought they had confidence in the show. It's not like the numbers are bad, or that ABC has a lot going for the station right now. So I'm surprised it hasn't been picked up yet, and it has me a little worried & confused now.

Im getting a little worried that it might not be. We should all contact ABC in the next couple days and tell them not to cancel it.

They have hinted in a few interviews i've read that there will be a next season
