Default Any fans of Whitney Houston???

When Whitney Houston came ou in the early 80's I thought she was all that and more, finally a good girl singer,9that was in the time when Madonna was just starting out also, but more as a slutty, hooker type)How Will I know was one of my all time favorites,Greatest Love Of All, was also my faav, the whole album was good. She had several hit albums during the 1980's and 1990's I wanna Dnce With Somebody,One Moment In Time, to nam a few. She tryed her thing in acting in the 1990's Witing To Exhale was a moderate hit for her,Lately though she seems to be in troouble,or out of the lime lite, her husband Bobby Brown got in trouble with the law,he may still be in jail or not. But drugs got in there way. She probably wants people to beleve that she still is a"nice girl" but she has not ,I hop she knows that drugs can kill. She has a daughter hat hopefully won't fallow in her drug path.Mad tv and Saturday Night Live did skits about her and Bobby about there drug use. Whitney has not done an album for awhile, hopefully also that the drugs did not mess her up.She was on some award show and messed her lines up. Whitney Houston has come a long way.

When she 1st came out I loved her music. I had the album with all those songs you are talking about and I wore it out listening to it. And I still like her music, she has a great voice. But she really needs to get rid of Bobby and her drug habbit. It's really sad to see her like this. She was suppose to be in rehab right now. But I think she checked out after only 5 days. Let's hope she turns her life around.

I used to be a Whitney fan when 'I wanna dance' came out up until 'I will always love you'. Her problems aggravated there so I retired my fan status with her...I don't buy her CD's or watch her movies anymore

She sure has talent, but I think her voice is being affected by the coke, crack or whatever she's been doing. Cigarette smoking messes up the singing voice too and she smokes a lot. Dionne Warwick and Aretha Franklin were both chain smokers and you can hear how their voices have suffered. They can't hit higher notes like when they were younger.

I think that she had a ghetto personality from the jump, I don't think Bobby messed her up, I think that her clean image was manufactured by her record label. As for dumping Bobby you've got to say that these two have stuck with each other for like 12 years which is a long time in show biz, so they're trying but they have issues. I don't think he ruined her, I think these two have complementary personalities. For all we know she might be beating him up behind closed doors.

When I first heard of Whitney she had a wonderful, beautiful voice and seeing her she had a beautiful face and she was so tall and elegant. Granted I didn't like the clothes she wore but, she had an innocence about her. I enjoyed her singing.

When she would win all the Grammys... Her first speech was one of pure humbleness but, later on when she won many more she just said Thanks....... (That kind of turned me off).

I never ever imagined pretty Whitney with Bobby Brown. I just felt she deserved someone better because she seemed so perfect.

I really hope that she turns her life around because she looks deathly bad........ What sadness to see her the way she is. It never should've happened.

One thing that always struck me about her from the beginning: One of her earliest hits was Saving All My Love for You where she sings so passionately about infidelity and yet she claimed to be so religious. That's contradictory.

yes... I never really liked that song. Although it was a very beautiful melody. It's about something so dirty.

I liked some of her earlier stuff, but I really haven't liked her, since then.

I like her My Love Is Your Love album, it showcased everything great about Whitney... plus it had many great singles. I didn't bother to listen to Just Whitney, "Whatchulookinat" was beyond terrible and obnoxious.
