New Shows for Dean Cain & Jon Tenney - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was bored tonight, so I did some searching on the internet about The Division and its cast, etc.

I found the following while searching. It seems that both Dean Cain and Jon Tenney will be starring in new shows this fall.

Dean Cain (Jack) will be starring in a 60 minute drama called Clubhouse for CBS. It will debut in September 2004.

Jon Tenney (Hank) will be starring in a 30 minute sitcom called Joint Custody on WB Network. It will debut in September 2004.

Also, I see that Deborah Joy Levine (creater, producer, & writer of The Division) is creating and producing a new 60 minute drama called Class Actions for Lifetime. It is scheduled for a September 2004 debut.

I thought that I would pass this along in case anyone was interested.

Hmmm, interesting. I wonder if this means that season 4 is the end, since DJL is doing a new drama for Lifetime. And if that's the case, it makes me wonder......since shows are in development long before they debut, that means DJL has known about it for a while now....could she have actually TRIED to kill TD by getting rid of CD like she did?

I just read an article from Variety from last week that said Lifetime has passed on DJL's new pilot and is expected to renew The Division for a fifth season.

NEW YORK -- Lifetime has scrapped all series plans for its two most highly touted 60-minute pilots: Sony Pictures TV's "Class Actions" and Lions Gate TV's "The Coven."

Demise of the two series proposals has bolstered the chances that Lifetime will give a fifth-season go-ahead to "The Division," the network's Sunday night police series from Viacom Prods. that is wrapping up production on its fourth season.

Lifetime was taking a hard look at "Division" because its ratings have fallen off in the first quarter by 30% among 18-49 for nine original episodes, and by 24% in total viewers. But "Division" still averages a 2 rating, which is well above Lifetime's primetime average and one key gauge of success for a series.

Upping the chances that "Division" will get a fifth season is that creator-exec producer Deborah Joy LeVine will be free to concentrate on the show; she had shifted over to writer and co-exec producer of "Class Actions," which would've claimed her attention if it had gone to series.

The "Class Actions" pilot, directed in Vancouver by co-exec producer Charles Haid, featured Diane Venora as a high-powered Gotham lawyer who moves to a small town to teach at the local university. Tangi Miller (news) played a law student.

"The Coven" pilot, shot in Toronto by exec producers Charlie Craig and Gale Anne Hurd, dealt with a group of modern-day witches. Lions Gate and Hurd's Valhalla TV were touting it as "The Witches of Eastwick" meets "The Stepford Wives."

Lifetime commissions more scripted original series for adults than any other cable network.

In addition to "The Division," Lifetime earlier greenlit a fifth season of Sony Pictures TV's "Strong Medicine," which also experienced a falloff in total viewers and adult women.

Lifetime also has given a go-ahead to second seasons of "1 800 Missing" and "Wild Card," its two Saturday primetime hourlong melodramas, which premiered last summer. Each will get an 18-episode run.

Oh YeaH..I really had a gut feeling for a while that TD was gonna be dfinished after 4th season..guess i was wrong! It was a GooD thing though! lol ha! ByE x0x0Jessie

Yeah that would be dumb..there would be like no point to a fifth season if like some of the chracters and maybe even Nancy dont return to the show! HoPe that NEVER happens!! x0x0Jessie

Glad to hear that The Division will most likely come back for a fifth season. I was beginning to think that this season would be the last one.

I also wonder if we will see Hank after this season.

I was thinking the same thing. It certainly doesn't surprise me, though, that viewership dropped off 30% of people aged 18-49 for the fourth season, so far. I was seriously leaning toward the side that this would be the last season. I hope that the producers do take the cue, of the dropped ratings, and bring CD back!

Now that there probably will be a fifth season, there's hope......

I hope CD does come back. I had a dream lst night that she came back out of no where. She just sat dwon in the desk infront of nate but the odd thing was she had corn rows
