How did Roseann end?!? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm new to the board... but I've been really confused for some time about how exactly Roseann ended? I might be mistaken, but I always thought that Roseann and Dan were together at the end, but I'm watching reruns and they are split up...

I feel terrible for not knowing the answer... so could someone just fill me in on what happened there?! I would feel so much better!!!!

Seriously, though, keep watching Nick At Nite. They're near the end of the run.

yeah I seriously think I have a case of a repressed memory... I think I blocked out the ending b/c I didn't like it...

The series finale (and most of the entire ninth season) was a big disappointment to longtime fans. I still remember watching the last episode in 1997, jaw agape, wondering what the hell I just spent the last hour watching.

The final season is so bad that Carsey-Werner wouldn't even show it in syndication at first. I think it took about two years or so for them to change their minds.

I'm one of the people who liked the finale. It was really, really sad though, and I cried (and I still cry every time I see it), but I liked it. But yeah, most of the whole 9th season was way under par. There are only a couple of episodes in that whole season where I think to myself "now there's the Roseanne that I love!". The rest of it is only okay. Watchable but not nearly as good as the rest of the series' run. I'll watch tonights episodes despite the fact that I found the whole Wellman thing really boring for the most part.
