Default Another newbie!

Hello everyone...
I'm interested in posting here at the Green Acres board...
Looking forward to making some new friends....
Here is some stuff about me....

I enjoy bluegrass (bluegrass gospel) and country music.
I play piano and flute and I love to scrapbook!
My two fave T.V. shows are Happy Days and Andy Griffith... but I enjoy Green Acres too.
If you haven't figured it out I love the bluegrass gospel group: Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver. Feel free to inquire about them by sending me a PM!

Hope to make new friends...
DLQSfan

Hi DLQSfan! I'm actually new around here myself and kind of new to Green Acres. I remember watching as a kid and loving the show, but I don't think I've really seen it in years and years. I decided to buy season 1 on DVD and am absolutely in love with the show now! There's so much more than meets the eye and it's just laugh-out-loud funny to me! I'm a huge fan of classic tv and really watch very few new shows. Other big favorites are Bewitched, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Dark Shadows, Gunsmoke, Little House On The Prairie, Starsky And Hutch, Star Trek, and Northern Exposure. I probably listen to more rock music than anything, my favorite group is Fleetwood Mac, but I do listen to a lot of the classic country artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, and Tammy Wynette.

One reason I LOVE Sitcoms Online is because of friendly people like you and others I've met! I'm very new to Green Acres. I had never seen it until it came on TV Land last month! It was an instant "hit" with me! The only two channels I watch are TV LAND & CMT!!! I enjoy watch TAGS, Green Acres, Happy Days, The Munsters, Leave It To Beaver, and many more!!!!!!! I listen to country (modern, even though I do enjoy Dolly's stuff), bluegrass, and bluegrass gospel. Feel free to PM me sometime to chat about TV, music, (My favorite topic) DL&Q, or anything that crosses your mind!

Thanks!
DLQSfan

(I love the MANGO!!!) LOL!

Hello newbies!!! I've been here for quite awhile and know a lot about Green Acres (after all it is my favorite show), so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!!!

Oh, almost forgot! Here's a little bit about me:

I LOVE classic television! My favorite classic shows are Green Acres, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Bewitched, I Love Lucy, I Dream of Jeannie, Happy Days and Little House on the Prairie. Their not neccesarilly in the order of my favorites, except for Green Acres; that will always be number one! I am a huge Eva Gabor fan and admire her for her beauty, class, glamour, and kindness. I listen to alot of differents kinds of music, but country music has to be my favorite (just like a true Texas girl should!) and I am also a big Dolly Parton fan. I also like to watch a few modern shows like the Simpsons, Family Guy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I live in deep south Texas and am Hispanic, so don't be alarmed if I use spanish words every now and then.

Sorry, I'm rambling! I'll stop now! Adios!!!

Oliver: I'd take a seed, a tiny little seed, I'd plant it in the ground, I'd put some dirt on it, I'd water it, and pretty soon, do you know what I would have?
Lisa: A dirty little wet seed.

I do!!! I am a Horror genre fanatic. I love Vintage Horror (Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing etc. -The original movie "The Haunting" with Julie Harris.), Independent Horror (The original "Halloween", etc.), Foreign Horror (Asian- "Ju-On Series", "The Eye", and many more, Italian "Suspiria" and many more). I learn about all these movies on The Horror Channel website and Message board. Here is The Horror Channel's website http://www.horrorchannel.com/index.php and The Horror Channel's message board http://www.horrorchannel.com/forums/index.php. You can keep up with everything Horror on the site and the message board.

I discovered the original Gothic Soap Opera "Dark Shadows" thanks to wonderful websites such as http://www.collinwood.net. Fabulous site! I received the first 3 Dark Shadows DVD sets, recently. I can't get enough of them. Great Gothic Fun! I'm going to collect all the Dark Shadows DVD sets over time. Dark Shadows

LOL I got carried away. To bring this back around to Green Acres, I would have loved a Green Acres Halloween episode. Perhaps, the town of Hootersville (as Lisa says ) could have thrown a Halloween costume party. Oh and a side note: Eva Gabor and Vincent Price starred together in "The Mad Magician". Also, Dame Diana Rigg (my Avatar. Emma Peel) and Vincent Price were in "Theatre of Blood" together.

Cheers!
