Anyone else remember the episode (in Season One) when Molly finds out her folks are splitting- and she and Mrs. G plead with Mr. Bradley to cancel his Hawaiian vacation JUST to stay at Eastland to console her?

Didn't he LEAVE for vacation at the end of that episode?

NOPE! He came back to the school living room declaring that he couldn't go on vacation with Molly suffering!
