Default "Return To Nantucket"

"Return To Nantucket" is the season 1 episode when Carol comes back...

Did anyone else think that Carol didn't really seem like either Joe's or Brian's type? Maybe I can see her and Brian, but definately not Carol and Joe.... especially since I didn't see any season one episodes, or most of season 2 when I firsat started watching Wings, so after seeing the whole series through and hearing about the whole thing about how Joe was engaged to Carol, amd then she ran off and married Brian, and then she left him for another guy, when I finally saw "Return To Nantucket", and saw Carol, it was like a shock because I didn't picture Carol as being like that- at all!
Anyone else agree?

Wow, it's strange that you bring this up, because I've always had a problem with Carol too!

I just couldn't see her married to Brian for SIX YEARS! Running away with him MAYBE, but I just didn't see her STAYING with crazy Brian for that long.

Actually, I COULD see her with Joe. Even though she was a "pig" (as Helen called her), she could LOOK and ACT "classy", and I could see Joe being taken in by that, as well as being impressed with it.

Believe it or not, I've heard some people comment that HELEN wasn't a good match for Joe! Some think that she was just too rough and crude, while Joe was preppy and professional-acting....which goes to show that different viewers have very different perceptions and opinions of the "Wings" characters' romantic interests!

yeah, actually, now that you say that, I can't see Brian with her for that long. no way. But I still can't see her with Joe eother. lol. It just seems weird....

And that's funny that some Wings fans didn't think Helen was Joe's type... I always thought the two of them were good together ever since the beginning, because they were such good friends before, and they always had that chemistry together. And I never really thought that they were that much different from each other.
