The Texas Chainsaw Massacre the remake was better than I thought.I just wacthed it on video,will buy the dvd later. They changed alot from the first one,The hitchhiker was a girl insteadof a guy,which he did not kill himself.Some other things were new also.Jessica Biel from 7th Heaven sure did a leap from her acting,she plays such a goody shoes,but on TTCM she kicked butt.It had some scary sences,but mostly it was suspense. The original however had a auctual based on a true story going for it. Leater Face was asome in this one.

It took place on the same day, had a group of friends travelling in a van, a hitchhiker, John Larroquette narrating (too bad he didn't go as slowly as he did in the original) and Leatherface: These seemed to be the only things the remake had in common with the original. Over all, I enjoyed it more than I ever expected to. Still, I'll take the original.

The Texas Chainsaw (2003) is my favorite of all of them. I didn`t see the 2nd and 3rd one, but they probably sucked, since the first one is always the best. In the beginning was really cool when they were all jamming to Lynryd Skynyrd, then they throw the donkey filled pot in the field.

Wasn't the TCM sequel with Renee Z basically like a remake?
