Wally's hair was brighter in the earlier episodes.

How adorable!

And I agree about Wally's hair...both he and Eddie seemed to be blonder when they were younger. And its funny, whenever I watch the show, Beaver's hair always seems to be very dark and inky, but in real life it was more of a medium brown color.

June's seems to get lighter as the years go on, doesn't it? It was a medium blonde originally, but it looked really blonde in the 5th and 6th season.

I don't really think Wally's hair was black/brown at all from looking at that picture. It looks like he has some brown/black roots but his hair seems to be bright and shiny. Maybe he died it.

I think you misread what I wrote, I said that BEAVER'S hair always looked so dark, not Wally's.
