Anyone else catch this one? In part 2 of the "Crime Story" episode (in which the 2 bullies steal Arnold & Dudley's lunches) there was one of those classic 'lazy' sitcom mistakes. Arnold secretly records Willis' voice to see how well his tape recorder works. Arnold asks Willis if he is coming down to breakfast. Willis responds "Yea, I'll be right with you." But when Arnold plays the tape back, you hear Willis' voice saying "Yea, I'll be right with you, ARNOLD." Oops, where did that 'Arnold' come from? LOL. Just thought that was kind of funny.

Yeah. Common mistakes like that do happen. Directors and actors need to be more detailed when it comes to things like that.

There was also a small error in "The Fight". Arnold and Willis are leaving after talking to Mr. Drummond to go fight the gooch. Willis and arnold take their jackets and nothing else. Yet when they come back from the fight, Willis has that hat of his and Arnold has those sunglasses. They must have stopped at a drug store and bought those glasses!! Giggle!!

I just did some research and read that the guy who played Roberto, Sal Lopez, was born in 1954! That would have made him about 28 when that episode aired! I even joked to my girlfriend that he didn't look like a "high school" kid. "High school" people always looked too old on 70s and 80s sitcoms. Like Andrew Dice Clay was supposed to be a "high school" kid in another episode of Diff'rent Strokes (which they also played last night). And how about the Welcome Back Kotter kids -- they were supposed to be in high school? Gimme a break, they looked about 30!

Yeah man, I was going to mention the Andrew Dice Clay thing too. I know, he looked like he was in his 30's or late 20's at the least. He could've played a teacher too or some kid's father.
But he was real funny though, I liked the part when he was eating the fried chicken. I wonder whatever happen to him. I missed the E! true hollywood story on him. [This message has been edited by Curtis3331 (edited 08-25-2001).] |
