Has anybody remembered the game show called "$1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime"? It was a fun show featuring puzzles and things like that. Finally, the couple goes to the both for a bonus round to play cash like $5,000, $10,000 or something like that. A few days later, the couple came back to the both a few shows later and play the bonus round to win $1,000,000. I love that moment. These people were great when they won. That was before "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire". IMO, does Warner Bros. Television has the rights for the "$1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime" which is part of a Lorimar/Telepictures package? I haven't seen that game show in years.
Here is that website:http://www.xanfan.com/othergrabs/1mcoal.htm |

I remember that show! Years before Regis asked contetants "Is that your final answer?" The $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime gave away the largest cash prize in game show history. Jim Lange was the host and Karen Thomas joined the show in the second season. Two couples competed to solve word puzzles while trying to avoid "The Stinger", a letter that was not in the puzzle.

I darn well remember watching that show! I mostly recall watching the second season where cars were given away.
I used to have the $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime home game too. The kind with Jim Lange's picture on the cover. The contents were different from the contents pictured on the back. Mine had a clear plastic board with cardboard tiles. |
