"Final Four" Sitcom Game---It's down to 8!
Thanks to all those who have voted in my Final Four Sitcom Game so far. It's time to announce the "Sweet 16" winners. Here are the results, including my votes in capitals below:
1950s/1960s Sitcoms BEWITCHED over Make Room For Daddy 22-2 I Love Lucy over MY THREE SONS 17-7 1970s ALL IN THE FAMILY over The Jeffersons 13-11 Three's Company over HAPPY DAYS 18-7 (someone voted for both of them!) 1980s Mama's Family over CHEERS 13-11 FAMILY TIES over The Facts Of Life 18-6 1990s/2000s The Wonder Years over THE SIMPSONS 15-9 Home Improvement over COACH 15-9 So now the final 8 are set. Here are the new pairings. Now the competition really gets interesting, as you will see: 1950s/1960s: Bewitched vs I Love Lucy 1970s: All In The Family vs Three's Company 1980s: Mama's Family vs Family Ties 1990s/2000s: The Wonder Years vs Home Improvement The deadline for voting, as usual, is the following Friday.
