Fat Girls

Why did blair get soooooo fat later in the series ? at one time she was kind'a cute. is it true she was pregnant during much of the filming of the final season ?

no..i mean im almost sure she was engaged in the 9th season...but she wasnt pregnant...well im pretty sure..i read that somewhere..she wasnt fat...

Lisa says the following on her site under my story, my family:

" I filmed the last episode of “The Facts of Life” in March of 1988 and then I was married on July 9th, 1988. Ten months later I was pregnant with my first child and proceeded to have three children, three years in a row."

I agree with Blair n' Jo Rock, Lisa was not fat.

Lisa fat in season 9? No way!!! Take another look at Lisa in season 4 compared to season 9. IMO, she wasn't even fat in season 4, regardless of what the critics or any other jerks said. Ok, so she wasn't that skinny then either. But still....fat in season 9??...Gimme a break!

The Facts of Life Girls "Fats of Life" It's true they did gain weight, but thats human. That's part of life. Haven't all of us if we are truthful gained weight over the years, but no body said anything about us because we were not on tv. I'm not trying to cause problems I just want to say show some respect to the Facts of Life Girls.

I never thought Lisa or any other girls on that show were fat. Although about Joan Rivers, people should just ignore her because she makes cracks on EVERYONE in Hollywood. I think it was wrong for her to say that about them. JMO...

I totally agree with everyone, especially that "Blair" was not fat!Why do people listen to critics?Just becasue their opinions get printed or aired on TV doesn't mean that they're right and everyone else is wrong!I'm so sick of everyone believing what they hear instead of forming their own opinions.I know that not EVERYONE does that, but a lot of people do and personally,I think it's getting tiring.

I have to defend something here. I regularly post messages on this board as a guest and I think that all messages, by guests or members, should be recognized equally, and all opinions about subjects should be respected.

However, I choose to come back to this board to read and post opinions because it isn't filled with arguments and messages hurtful or disrespectful to the characters of these shows, usually. But when that does happen, it goes away quickly and supporters of the actors and characters prevail. I try to post only positive things but I will respond to something I disagree with stongly enough, not for the sake of argument but just to voice an opinion. If the subject has already become argumentative, I usually leave it alone. I think that the majority of the people involved with these boards feel the same way.
So in reference to this orginal message, calling anyone fat, actor or not, is a terrible thing to do and it should not be done, but since it was I will choose to ignore it. That is the best way to move away from it. Who is fat and who is not will always be a debate because everyone sees it differently. Everyone has opinions but when they are hurtful, I'm not sure they should be spoken of, but unfortunately they are sometimes.

Which gets me back to the purpose of this post, if an opinion is voiced, bad or good, it should be taken into consideration, whether it be from a member or a guest. So I agree with you that this message should be ignored but I still believe that the person who posted it should be recognized.

Sorry, I didn't mean to write an essay.
