Does anyone remember the case about a prisoner named Randolph Dial who kidnapped a correctiions officers wife who worked with him in the art program. I googled his name and he is still on the run. I feel for the family of the victims and Bobby Parker's wife and children. This seems like another case that will never be solved.

AMW profiled Dial a few months ago, and a man who wrote a book on the Dial case was interviewed. According to the man (whose name I can't remember), he received a call from a woman he is convinced was Bobbi Parker. He pointed out that the reason he is convinced that she is still alive is because said he asked the woman a few questions to all of which she gave correct answers. He never said what those questions and answers were, but did say that it related to personal info regarding her that has never been publicly known. This obviously brings some hope that Bobbi Parker is still alive. Let's hope so. And let's also hope that Dial is eventually caught. But if he turns out to be dead, then I wouldn't feel too sorry for him. (It was mentioned that he had to take medication for a heart-related problem.) |

This was one case that I always thought would be solved. I believe that Randolf & Bobbi are still together and she's been brainwashed thats why she hasn't gotten away by now, but you think with all the national attention that someone would have seen them and turned him in. I remember when he called the author of the book he wouldn't tell them where they were but a clue he gave them was "delta".
I have that book about Randolf Diel and it was ok reading. Its basically his life story and they only dedicate a few pages to the Bobbi Parker story. |

There was an update on this case on America's Most Wanted pretty recently and it seems Bobbi Park went willingly with Randolph Dial.
It must have been willingly since if she is still alive after 10 years she would have definitely gotten a chance to call for help after this long. So, as amazing as it may be, she seems to have gone willingly with that bozo Randolph Dial. |

Wow! How did they know she went willingly? I'd hate to think she left her husband and kids to live on the run with an escaped convict.

Dial should have been barred from any physical access outside the prison system. Had that been the case, Bobbi might not have ever gone missing at all. |

There is no way that she was held hostage by Dial, I mean for nearly 11 years she never had an opportunity to escape. Bobbi Parker left with Dial, I hope her daughters and husband have enough sense to go on with there lives and not welcome Bobbi back.

I think she ran off with Dial, because her life with her husband had become too boring. Dial sounds like a sophisticated and cultured guy, since he liked art. He was able to undermind Bobbie since the beginning as he was mentioned to have overtaken Bobbie's art program (In the UM episode). Her husband seemed like a big dork anyways. Hasn't it been a common motif for women to fall for older men anyway?

True that!I'm suspicious that Dial was so verbal about admitting to have kidnapped her, plus the fact that he mentions they never had sexual relations. Sounds like a man in love trying to keep his woman out of trouble and out of prison...but who am I to judge?

Dial has been captured and Bobbie has been recovered!
Check the AMW website for the whole story. |

If I'm picturing him correctly -- glasses, bozo mustache, wimpy monotone voice.
Ten years in a trailer on a chicken farm might not have been a bad swap. Yeah, another lucky guess by Kane. I'm saying the Alcatraz guys will NEVER show up or swim back. No wonder I seldom lose. |
