I know that her last appearance was in the season 8 premier, but when was her last mention? I am watching the season 8 finale right now and Roseanne just mentioned Crystal in it (she saw Dan eating something that he wasn't supposed to). Anyway, is that the last time she's mentioned or does she get mentioned somewhere in the 9th season as well? It's really too bad she couldn't have been in the final episode, or at least talked about. We could have been given an explanation for her absence. But then again, a lot a characters just came and went all the time without explantion, but I don't think any of them were as loved as Crystal.

Didn't Crystal and Roseanne get into a fight in real life and that is what caused her to be off the show? I can't remember for sure.

Most of the time though when characters came and went they'd only be there for 1 or 2 seasons but Crystal was a regular for 4 whole seasons, even though she isn't listed in the credits for seasons 1 and 2 she's still seen at the table so they counts as being a regular to me. Around season 5 is when she was fading away. I think she as mentioned in the Home where the aghan is episode like Roseanne is talking to her on the phone for a few seconds. I haven't seen that episode in a looooong time so I may be incorrect.

Crystal is listed in credits for seasons 1 and 2 at the end of the show .. So thay did have a fight??? and also i dont understand why mark and david was not in the opening them ???

Good question about Mark and David. maybe Roseanne just wanted the original core characters in the opening.
