Nickelodeon was so much better back in the late 80's and early 90's. They had good shows like Salute Your Shorts, You Cant Do That On Television etc.

Yeah, Nickelodeon was SO great in the '80's and early-mid '90's, but like all other sitcoms these days, it just ain't funny.

The only time I watch Nick is when Spongebob is on and when they show episodes of Kenan and Kel which is not that often

You did something called "growing up". Those TV shows no longer appeal to you, because they're for young kids.

No it's not that, the cartoons just aren't funny. I'd still watch some of the shows I watched when I was little if they came on now. The seasons of Rugrats before Dill came on were hysterical, and I would watch those ANY time.

The Fairly Oddparents is a good show. It doesn't have much in common with their old classics, but it's a good one. It has it all: good treatment of the "wacky wish fulfilment" genre, a realistic ten-year-old, and satirical supporting characters (the parents, Trixie, etc.). I think that Nickelodeon hit a low point around the Catdog era, but it has climbed out of it with shows like Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob, and As Told by Ginger.

Here's my opinion of the shows of Nick.

Danny Phantom-Great
Spongebob-Pretty damn good
Rugrats-Pretty stupid but can be funny at times
All Grown up-Stupid a total waste of time
Drake and Josh-Great
Invader Zim-was one of my favorite shows until they canceled it
Kenan and Kel-Awesome but the newer ones are stupid
Yakity Yak-Gayer than life can be
Hey Arnold-Not my favorite show but it can be much enjoyable.
The Fairly Oddparents-Used to love it but now they're really screwing up with the new episodes.
Tiny Toon adventures-Not very enjoyable, has no small laughs, but when you get a good episode it may leave you laughing forever.
The Amanda show-One of the weirdest shows of our time but still funny.
My Life as a Teenage Robot-Totally stupid. No questions asked.

I think that's it right? As you can see I give Nickelodeon a 7 out of 10. They could do much better and should probably cancel some of their shows and make better ones that aren't weird.

Default The shows I watch now

Boy oh boy, Nick has gone downhill for the longest time now. But there are still some saving graces for me:

ROCKET POWER- Good show in my opinion. I get a thrill out of seeing Otto Rocket get major air and pull off schemes and everything

ALL GROWN UP- I say that it is about time that the Rugrats grew up from babies. I think it's pretty good

whatever happened to WILD THORNBERRIES?
or HEY ARNOLD! or all that stuff like that. They were great.

I think Nick was at its best with hits like:
ROCKO'S MODERN LIFE
REN & STIMPY
TINY TOON ADVENTURES reruns
MY BROTHER & ME
CLARISSA
the first cast of ALL THAT!
ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK

Lord, what memories!
