This from a Friends book my mom gave me.

Facts you might not have known.

Friends was going to be called Six of One.

The writers are on the set while Friends is being filmed in front of a live audiance. If the audiance don't laugh at a joke, they stop filming and ask the people if they got the joke. If they don't, the writers quickly change it.

The writers/producers wanted Courtney Cox to play Rachel.

Lisa Kudrow didn't want to play Phoebe becuse she was already playing a ditz on Mad About You and she didn't want to be typecast, but the writer/producers convinced her to play the part.

The famous fountain scence, the one in the openign credits, was filmed at the Warner Brothers Studio in Los Angeles at 5 in the morning.

They monkey who played Marcel also played with Duston Hoffman in the movie Outbreak.

Jennifer didn't want to be known for her hair styles.

Phoebe sung more than 25 original songs. Smelly Cat was the most famous.

There's alot more, but I don't want to do every one of them.
