Yes, Episode #3 was another well-written, well-acted story!
While the episode was VERY difficult for me to watch (being that the story dealt with patients dying from leukemia, which my father passed away from two years ago), it was a very well done hour....and Steven was really showcased in this episode! His character had some of the smart-ass smugness of Brian Hackett, but he was also in complete and mature control of the situation being investigated. His character has really grown and developed over the past 3 weeks! I know that this may sound weird, but as a "Wings" fan, I am truly PROUD of Steven Weber and the fine job that he is doing in this mini-series. Next week is the final program of the four-week run....and I really hope that ABC picks the show up as a regular weekly series. It's a program that doesn't make you feel as if you've wasted your time watching it! |

Well it looks like this show will soon be called The D.O.A. cause it's not doing good in the ratings. Then again, they are showing it on Fridays so what do they expect. I'm glad that Weber is getting critical acclaim though.

If you read my past posts about "The D.A.", my thoughts and opinion of the show changed drastically from Episode #1 (when I thought that it was too heavy and draggy a show for a Friday night) to Episodes #2 and #3 (which held my interest all the way). |

I remembered to set up the VCR this week!
You're right- it was a great episode. I am impressed with this show, and I really hope ABC will pick it up as a regular weekly series. |
