Default favorite scenes from the show opening

What scenes from the main titles do you enjoy watching? I like a lot of the scenes they had in the later years: Louise is like 15 months pregnant and comes out of the kitchen to serve George, Florence as aunt Jemima, George comes out of the kitchen that's overflowing with soap bubbles, Bentley throws George in the dumpster, Louise takes the doorknob off the door of her old apartment, Louise as Mae West and George as Charlie Chaplain, Louise and Helen in jail.

I like those scenes too. Almost all of the scenes were funny intentionally. One was funny by accident. There's a fairly trivial scene of Louise kissing George. She's wearing a low cut top and her cleavage is showing and she has on a HUGE wig. This wasn't meant to be a joke in the series, but some of Isabel Sanford's wigs on the show were enormous. Like what they wore in the 18th century.

I like the scene where Louise and George are sitting in the cab, and Louise is wiping a tear away from her eye (probably because she misses moving away from Queens), and George then holds her hand and says something like "Don't worry, it's going to be OK." I also like the scene where they literally jump out of the cab and into the open elevator!

And when they get out the cab, George has the-"I got money now" Strut as he heads toward the elevator-LOL

When she smacked George with the pillow. And when he was pushing her while he was pimping inside the apartment. The funny part was how Weezie was walking. She was walking so innocent, while he was goin' to town wit dat walk.

I always loved the scene where Louise is trying to hold up the backpack in the Season 5 opening credits. She falls back to the couch while reaching for George. I always laugh out loud at that one. It has the title card for Berlinda Tolbert & Jay Hammer on it.

Unfortunately, it is the only scene replaced in season 6 when Mike Evans returns. The scene that replaced it is Jenny & Lionel hugging and now has Berlinda Tolbert & Mike Evans.

Ironically, season 6 is the season where they put the names on the actual scenes of the person instead of just over random scenes.

I liked Florence doing her "no, masta" mammy bit. I also liked George bonking Weezy on the head as she sat under the hair dryer, and also Weezy doing that "indian dance" in the kitchen while Jenny was giving Lionel a haircut.

The opening in where Tom is banging on George's hair when they and Helen were locked in the bathroom.

I like George knocking on Weezy's hair dryer, too. I also like Weezy pummeling George with the pillow. Speaking of pillows, I enjoy the Jeffersons and Willises smacking each other around with them.

But my favorite is probably the one of them getting out of the cab and entering the building.
