haha! to stick with the theme that's happening lately on the board, how about sharing your funniest Casey moments! I know there are only a couple of us Casey fans here, but I think she's really funny, and there are a few really funny Casey moments that always have me laughing out loud.
the ones that I can think of off the top of my head are: in "Nuptuals Off" when Helen, Brian, and Antonio are trying to get to Mexico to get an enullment, because Helen found out that her and Antonio were actually still married... they left Casey in charge of running the lunch counter and keeping Joe from finding out where Helen was, and Helen had told her to tell Joe that she was at the store if she asked, so Joe was supposed to have left already, but he came back in, and as soon as he said something to Casey, not even having to do with Helen, she just blurted out, "Helen's at the store!", and then there was that woman at the counter who Brian had invited to Mexico, and she was just about to say to Joe who she was going with, so Casey just stood there and screamed really loud. So Joe is like, "What's going on?!" so she was like, "uh, I saw a mouse!" and he was like, "I don't see it." and she said, "In the kitchen... before." so he went in and looked and didnt see anything, and she said, "well, it wasn't even really a mouse, it was more like a little... mouselet." haha That whole scene cracks me up. I think Casey is so funny. and then in "'Twas the Heist Before Christmas", when Brian comes in with his date and introduces Casey, then there's this big awkward sience, and then the three of them start talking all at the same time, and they do that like, 3 times in a row, and then they all kind of awkwardly look around trying to find something to talk about, so Casey picks up a carrot stick and points to it and goes, "pfff!" as if she's saying, "hey, check out how funny this carrot is!" hahaha. that always made me laugh the way she does that. |

I think one of the classic Casey episodes was the one where she was supposed to have this big date, but Brian passed on his cold to her.
So many funny Casey episodes in that one. |

There's one point where super-ill Casey is ready for her date....and she looks TERRIBLE (smeared lipstick, messed-up hair, padded clothes to keep warm, etc.). Brian's sitting on the couch and calmly says, "Hey Casey....Looking GOOD!" while he sticks his thumb up in the air....and Casey furiously yells, "Oh SHUT UP, BRIAN!". A GREAT "Brian-Casey" moment! |

another funny one is in "Love Overboard", when her and Stuart are on the boat, and she keeps throwing his money out of the portholes every time he gives her a wrong answer, while making a buzzer sound- "EEEHHH! Wrong answer!"

One time the two of them were being interviewed on TV, and John was asked about "Three's Company". He turned to Amy and asked, "What are YOUR memories of watching "Three's Company"?, and Amy replied (with a perfectly straight face), "I don't know...I was still playing in my sandbox back then!". Then John did one of his great "She Just Insulted Me!" reaction takes. People who knew John and Amy in real life said that they were like a hilarious comedy team who just happened to be married to each other. |

I still say Casey and Antonio should have been a couple
I thought they had good chemistry. To me, Antonio seemed to be the only one of the group who really cared for Casey. Even Brian looked like he'd rather not be around her at times. I liked how he stood up to that snobby rich guy for her.

Another funny "Casey" routine is in the episode where Sandy Cooper makes her third and final appearance....
Helen tells the gang that they may have gotten food poisoning from some bad tuna fish that she served them. Everyone is sitting around waiting to be very sick or die....except Casey. Casey's swigging from a big water bottle, proudly telling everyone that food poisoning "isn't going to get HER"....She's going to drink enough water to flush the food poison out of her system.....and throughout the rest of the episode she keeps running to the bathroom! |

I especially love the scenes she has with Steven Weber. I think they are so funny together. I just saw the episode where Brian gave Casey his cold, and she comes out with the thermal underwear on under her dress. 2 lines that Brian says to her made me crack up. First he makes a comment about her 'embalmed look', and then upon seeing the way she looks with the thermal underwear under her dress asks her "What, are you smuggling tires under there"? Then the episode with the martini bar, and she looks in Albie's viewfinder and lets out that scream!! That always makes me laugh. There's also the one where she tells Helen she's not going to go to the class reunion and Helen asks her "So what are you going to do, spend the whole night in bed, hiding under your blanket(or something like that) and Casey replies 'Throw in a bottle of tequila and a straw and that's pretty much my night'. That's my girl!! |
