Computer Problem - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Okay, I have a problem. I keep getting the pop-up on my computer like the one below, and I can't figure out why this is happening. I have a spyware eraser program, and I run it atleast once a week, and I check for viruses but nothing is coming up. I have had this computer for about 2 years, and I think it is dying. Last night it started looking like what snow on a vhs looks like...on my computer screen. I have tried everything. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks.

*by the way, I didn't crop the picture, but I am talking about the box in the middle.

Same thing happened to me last August. Let me get the link from the thread I made back then.

You have a form of MS Blast...By the looks of it, you haven't updated your XP -- you can do that by going to Start > Windows Update to do an update...

But do as Crystal said

problem. I hate computer problems. I was ready to throw it in the road and drive the car over it, LOL
