release of Sanford and Son on DVD. One of the eps from season 4 is not on the DVD. This episode is "Over the Hill Gag"and i'm confused because it's a season 4 episode. How can they not include all the eps for the entire 4th season??? Now i'm debating whether it's worth my time and money to buy the DVD. Has this happened with any other show on DVD?

If you notice, the prior releases of Sanford have all been issued by production # and not by air date. The episode you mention while technically did air in the 4th season has a production number of 501 which means when the 5th season gets released it will most likely be the 1st episode on Disc 1. I could never figure out why some studios release their seasons by production # and other by air date. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as to why one does it one way and one the other.
