Default Who else disliked the TORI episodes?

I really don't like those episodes. One thing I dread I'll have to watch when I get the 3/4th season dvd (if they include the 5th season somehow).

I didn't undestand why JESSIE and KELLY refused to come back during those episodes.

TBS rerun this mornng was the school song one......

When I was younger I totally disliked them, but as time passed, I enjoy them a bit more. But I still prefer the eps. with Jessie and Kelly.

To me, Tori just seemed to be a ripoff of "JO" from FACTS OF LIFE.

haha Yeah, she does. Too bad it didn't work out the same for Tori. Jo was a big hit with the Facts of Life audience. She had a lot of great come-backs in my opinion lol

I always liked the Jo and Blair arguments and fights on facts of life.

Yea Tori does remind me of Jo also. Tori and Jo both had a motorcycle, both wore leather jackets, both had smart assed comments and both tried to act tough.

Wonder why the makers of Facts of life never said anything to Saved by the Bell when they made the Tori character? Or was it because to many females in real life act the same way.

Who knows why Facts of Life never said anything.

Happy days had Leather Tuskadero(how ever the last name is spelled) So she was one of the first (probably not) Bad attitude leather wearing ladies on a sitcom. She even drove a motorcycle.

They're alright... at first I didn't like 'em but they grew on me. Are they being included in the next batch DVDs or not? I haven't gotten a clear answer.

I don't mind the Tori episodes but I don't count them as being in continuity with the show. I look on them as "professional fanfiction" if you will. They aren't 'real' episodes to me. Real episodes are the ones that feature Kelly and Jessie. Tori was okay for what she was but I've never been overly crazy about her really. I always liked Stacey from the beach club episodes much more.

I didn't mind the Tori episodes, maybe it's because Lisa was my favorite character and she was still there and Kelly and Jessie weren't my favorite characters.

I don't dislike the Tori episodes. I just don't understand them as far as canon is concerned. Because they're meant to be mixed in with the Kelly/Jessie episodes it makes no sense that one episode Zack is dating Kelly then the next he's dating Tori and back and forth. I feel like Peter Engel didn't respect his audience in that way. Like the episode where Zack and Lisa decide to become a couple only to have them never mention it again. It's like they just go for the happy ending for each particular episode even if that means they have to pretend it never happened in the next.

Tori & Zack had ZERO chemistry. That was the only thing i didn't really like about the Tori character. Tori looked like she wanted to bang Lisa instead.

To me, they were kind of weird, but I understand why they were done the way that they were done.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. They were still good. My most favorite episode is when the new song was written for the school.
