Default What grade(s) were Romeo and Bullethead in during the shows run?

What grade(s) do you think Romeo and Bullethead were in during the run of the show?

In the episode when they graduate, Romeo says "Bullethead we did it. We took the 6 year plan, but we did it."

So I assume they were freshmen in season 1, and seniors in season 6, but in between, who knows?

I don't think the specifics of their grades were ever really made clear in the show, otherwise it would draw attention to the fact that they were so old. One thing that is far out is that they were in Mr Hightower's music class for all those years. This must've been a special school for them to spend all those years studying music.

There is an episode early on where Kenan and Kel show up as Steve's charges in a mentoring program and they were supposed to be junior high aged kids but they looked like hs students, making Romeo and Bullethead look all the more older in comparison.

You brought up a good point about the grades, though. I think that the time frame in this show is stretched out so that the action from the time Steve comes to teach at the school to the time of the finale is really like maybe 3 or 4 years rather than 6. Years 5 and 6 are indistinguishable to me, except for Lovita being pregnant. I almost get the feeling they were filmed back to back without a hiatus.

It's funny you mentioned them, hell I just saw an episode of the Steve Harvey show yesterday with Kenan and Kel, The Kenan and Kel show premered the same season (1996-97) as the Steve Harvey show, and on their show they were high school students, yet when they guest star on Steve Harvey they were Junior high school students.

Tvje, do you know what season that Kenan and Kel episode is from? I think they showed up on this show playing those characters at least twice.

It's hard to tell the seasons apart in this show. Unlike some shows which change drastically in their look over several years this show always looked the same visually. Even the main titles are exactly the same for each season. I know Lovita isn't on in year one and the show has a more more sophisticated feel to it there. After that every year looks the same except that Regina has a langer hairdo in years 5 and 6.

What's also confusing to me is that at least here in NYC the WB used to air reruns from previous seasons in prime time on the same night as the current season so all the episodes are jumbled together in my head.

The consistency of look I guess is to further distract from the fact that Romeo and Bullethead were in school year after year after year

Kenan and Kel made appearances in 5 episodes from season 1-3, the episode I saw yesterday was their first apperance when they crash Romeo's birthday party.

For me, it is easy to tell the first season apart from the rest of the series, because of who was in the cast and who was not. But the rest of the seasons is not that easy to tell apart form each other.

I know Cedric and Lovita got married in year 4 because I remember watching it in prime time. It aired the February after Y2k. I think Regina got married in year 5 so if you follow the story arcs you can figure out which season a story is from.
