Legend of Zelda..you gotta like that. I wouldn't get it unless they sold SNES classics like FF3, too.

i got a gameboy advance 2 years ago but one time my brother put it in his pocket while it was on he was wrestling with his friend and they broke it.. the screen froze and the scene that was on there is still on there now. so when you try to play a game with it, it plays but the screen doesnt do anything. meh. so he got another one last summer. i want a gameboy advance SP though, they look really cool.

I bought one in 2001, but I sold it because it was hard to see the screen (this is before they came out with the backlit ones).

That's the same way I feel about my GBA...It's all good, though. I have an e-Reader for it and a GBA cable so I can hook it up for certain features on my Animal Crossing game for my GameCube. I wonder if both would work with a SP...

I have a Game Boy Advance SP. It's the blue one.

I've read all about this at IGN.com. I think I might get a couple of those games. If I had known they would make a GBA SP that was the color of the old NES, then I would have waited.

It would sort of be a problem though because unlike the NES, the SNES controller has 4 buttons while the NES had just 2. This would sort of conflict with some games because a number of SNES games required more than the two buttons.

Yep...Take the Zelda game for the SNES (A Link to the Past). They have that for the GBA, and it's really confusing because the "X" and "Y" buttons are missing, so that has resulted in some pretty screwed up gameplay.

That's the kind I have. I wanted a silver, but the store was out and I wanted one THEN before they ran out again, so I just settled for it, and I've grown partial to it rather than the silver ones now. I love Super Mario Brothers 1, 2, 3, Super Mario World 1 and 2, those are the games I'm collecting for it. I only have two though, lol; Super Mario World 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3. They're re-named "Super Mario Advance 3" and ". . . 4" on GBA though. I'm hoping "Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars" is ported to GBA; I'd buy that in a second.

AHHHHHHH! I LOVED that game. This is just IMO, though. If they brought it out to GBA, I'd get a Game Boy Player (for the GameCube) and play it from there...The gameplay would be better that way. Again, JMO.

I don't really like the way the people in the article are trying to talk like we're back in the 80's. And as for "the 80's were, like, a long time ago,", well...1980 was 24 years ago (yeah, it DOES seem like a long time ago), but 1989 was only 15 years ago...Hardly that long ago.

Sorry...had to vent a bit there...I've been a 80's junkie WAY long before the 80's craze started in 2002...And it just gets me a little peeved sometimes. But it's all good. Just as long as they're bringing back the NES games again, that's cool with me.

I LOOOOOOOVE the design of the GBA SP...it's so cool.

I'll be getting the Mario one I already have Zelda from the collectors edition on Gamecube but maybe I'll buy it for my Gameboy anyway.

I was brought up on Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and the original Game Boy. I have gotten out of it now though, but maybe I should consider getting back in since all the old stuff is coming back. Nintendo 64 was the last Nintendo system I had and never played it very much. I'm such an 80s junkie anyway. I am glad all of this stuff is coming back. My all time favorite gaming systems were the original NES and Super Nintendo. I just didn't like Nintendo 64. Maybe I should get a Game Cube.
