AI3- Describe your voting techniques and procedures every Tues.

but whats the usual gist of how you vote? Do you just vote the full 2 hours for your favorite no matter on how good or bad they did, or do you split it up? or what?

heres what i do.. and i know its up for disagreement, but i just wanted to compare..

if someone really blows me away, i vote a good number of times.. i press redial btw. but i dont vote the whole 2 hours, cuz i do get lazy.

by the time soul night came, i was a fan of Jasmine.. but i wasnt expecting to vote for her a whole lot, but since she blew me away, i gave her a good hour of votes.. i also gave some to people who i think did well -- Diana, George, Fantasia, etc.

on country night... i was dissapointed by Jasmine... for obvious reasons, so i only voted for her 5 times, to see what she can do next week. Most of my votes went to George and Diana (Diana, who would end up being in the bottom 3) and i did give some votes to Amy and one to JPL.

last night, i gave Jasmine and Diana a lot of votes, and even George. I also handed Amy a few votes... but yeah

so basically what i do is vote for who i think did remarkable.. i support my favorite a bit, only if that person does well though.. and i give some votes to the other people who did well. The only time i really voted the whole 2 hours for someone was last year for Clay, where i didnt get through once.

I do what you do, David. JPL is my favorite, so I vote for him 26 times (or less), and then I vote for one or two others who I really enjoyed that night. Like David, even if my fav. has an off night, I vote to keep them in because I enjoy seeing them each week. I didnt start voting til last years top... 3.. maybe it was top 4, but Im pretty sure it was top 3 because thats when I got all nervous that Kim was gonna give Clay the boot. Then, when it was down to the final 2, if I recall correctly, the phone lines were open for 3 hours instead of 2. Well, I put the # (which, conveniently is still on speed dial-- made that easier for JPL last nite ) on speed dial and voted non stop for the 3 hours... yah, I only got through 27 times. 27 times!!! Meangya! I was beyond heartbroken when he lost and was sick for 3 days.. but I got my revenge.

I just vote for my favorites. Like Jon Peter Lewis is my favorite of the season, as I am sure everyone knows by now, and Fantasia, so I vote for them every week, whether they are the best or not. If there is anyone else that I like that week, or I think did very well, I usually vote for them about 10 times, and keep most of my votes going to my favorites, because, like Crystal said, I want to see them around the next week.

I usually vote just for my favorites, Jon and John. I usually try to get in at least 10 times.

I haven't voted the past two weeks. Maybe I'm just too lazy.

Anyways when I generally vote, I pick based on my favorite performers and the ones that did really well that weren't my favorite performers. The better the person did, the more votes I put in regardless of whether the person is a big favorite of mine. For example, I am a big fan of JPL but I wouldn't cast too many votes for him if I voted last night. I would vote for him but I'd give him probably 10-15 votes at most. If I voted last night I would give George Huff the most votes (probably 75 or more) followed by Diana DeGarmo, Amy Adams, Fantasia Barrino, and Jasmine Trias (in no order but I'd put in 30-75 votes for them. JPL would get the fewest votes from me.

The most time I've spent voting was the first hour the lines were open (the wild card).

I split up my votes between my fav. for the season, and my fav/s for the night. JPL and George are my fav's from the beginning, but JPL really dissappointed me last night. I didn't put as many in for him as I did George. Like last night I put in more votes for Fantasia than JPL, even though she's not my fav, but she owned the stage last night. JMO

I vote for Amy 200 times. Or at least I did.

Then I would occasionally throw in about 5 Diana votes. The other night, I did 2 for JPL cos he's my sister's favorite and she helped me when I got lazy by dialing 30 of the votes.
