after year 2 the spark isn't there

Hi I'm new on these boards.

This show is good and watchable all the way through, but I noticed something. I was enjoying the reruns from year 8 then they went back to showing the first year and the early episodes are of a much better quality. I don't know what it is, but it is like something literally got up and walked out of this show after about the second season and never ever came back. In year 3 Phylicia is pregnant and not on as much or confined to bed and Denise was at college and not seen as much. These may be factors. I think also it's because in year 3 the show was now officially a blockbuster ratings hit and became aware of itself and that kind of self-awareness and pressure to stay on top begins creeping into the performances. In the earlier episodes there is more of a feeling like the actors are having more fun doing the show that I think is not there as much after that.
