I mean huh? Just as I was getting impressed by how brave DOOL has been lately, they have Alice choke to death on a doughnut! Not only did she deserve better than that (and I thought nothing could be worse than Romano's death by helicopter over on ER), but it's one hell of a smackdown after the serial killer angle.

Sheesh...

Apparently Marlena shoved it into Alice's mouth. : / Francis Reid didn't want any blood on Alice, so they had to come up with something else. I think that was nice of them to at least let Francis come up with Alice's death. Actually I had heard CHAINSAW back in Feb. and that probably would have went WAY to far. lol

I figured she'd want it that way. it's already upsetting knowing that Alice was going to die, but it would have been even more upsetting seeing Alice all bloody. I'm also really glad that they didn't show Alice actually dying. I figured Marlena would smother her or something to that nature.

I was assuming that we were meant to think Marlena would kill her, but that she'd then be found just sitting peacefully in her chair, and it had turned out she'd died fairly naturally. But choked on a doughnut? It just seems so trivial.
