Tickets will go on sale for select concerts of the nationwide tour on Saturday April 3, 2004, with pre-sale ticket information to be announced shortly. Additionally, Warner Bros. Live: Right Here, Right Now peaked at #5. For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge won a GRAMMY Award for "Best Hard Rock Performance with Vocal" in 1991. The GRAMMY Award-winning band has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide. Twelve Van Halen albums have been certified multi-Platinum. Additionally, the band's eponymous debut album and 1984 have both reached Diamond status, recognizing sales in excess of 10 million units each. From Van Halen News Desk:
Greg Dwyer and Bill Michaels, Davenport, Iowa's morning crew on Q106.5, have posted a third mp3 call to Edward Van Halen. Unlike the previous two calls, this one was rushed and cut short, but Eddie was good-natured and they shared several laughs. Little news was uncovered but what did come through was very welcome for those awaiting new Van Halen music as he revealed that the band has recorded a third new song, which he is currently mixing for the upcoming CD! This transcript of the call: EVH: Hello? D&M: Eddie! EVH: Yeah? D&M: Hey, it's Dwyer & Michaels in Iowa! EVH: ...and? D&M: How you doin'? EVH: I'm on the phone with a female companion. D&M: By the name of? EVH: Of what? D&M: We're just trying to see what her name was. EVH: Oh. D&M: Is that more important than talking to us? 'Cause if it is, we'll understand. EVH: Well... yeah, it is... unless you give good head. D&M: Well, you're not gonna get that from us, so... EVH: I could play you part of a great ****in' song right now - D&M: Okay! EVH: ...but she's more important, so you're **** outta luck! D&M: Can we call back in a little while? EVH: I'm gonna be asleep, man. I've been workin'-- D&M: Oh, okay. EVH: I've been gettin' three hours of sleep a night. I'm mixing, we're recording, finishing the third tune here at my house and we're mixing somewhere else, and - hold on a second. D&M: Okay. EVH: Alright, you know what she said? [Eddie clicks over to the other call. After he comes back:] D&M: What? EVH: She goes, 'Tell 'em to **** off.' D&M: No! It sounds like somebody who knows us. EVH: No, it's, uh... it's not a chick with a dick, but she's definitely got balls. D&M: So, are you guys rehearsing right now, then, getting ready for the tour? EVH: Hey, c'mon, our first ****ing gig is June 12th! D&M: Well, I don't know, I'm hoping you're already ready to go! EVH: I was born ready. If the rest of the guys aren't, that's their problem. D&M: So you're working on track number three for the CD. I heard Sammy said-- EVH: Yeah. Aw, c'mon, you know, I shouldn't be telling you any of this ****. D&M: That's alright! EVH: Yeah, for you!!! ****. You know, who gives a ****, really? I don't give a ****, you know? Put it this way: obviously, the hat (sic) is out of the bag... ah, ****. I gotta go. Call me tomorrow. D&M: We'll call you tomorrow. EVH: Alright? D&M: Alright. EVH: Bye. D&M: Bye. Thank you! EVH: Bye. You're welcome. Bye. Pictured below: Van Halen, 2004 |

that's funny too! In a way I feel sorry for Dave, I mean he brought the brothers their first half of the fame, but he made his bed and I guess he has to live with it. Would love to see him out there with them too.
