I think Brian Hackett is one of the absolute funniest TV characters of all time and (assuming voice of Lowell) I'm willing to fight anyone who disagrees!
Anyhoo, some faorite Brian moments of mine... the whole Puppetmaster episode "It's a sad country when anyone can walk up to a counter and buy meat." (Actually, that whole episode is also classic Brian.)Saving himself and Antonio from a would-be hijacker by using reverse psychology. Being hung upside-down by a psycho policewoman. And, of course, running the airline while Joe was in the hospital. There are many more hysterical Brian moments, but I'll let you guys list some. |

I've mentioned this before, but I love that CLASSIC teaser bit where a bunch of passengers are seated in the Sandpiper plane, waiting to take off...and nobody is seated in the pilot seat.
Various passengers are impatiently looking at their watches, and wondering where the pilot is.... Finally a "passenger" puts down his newspaper and yells, "That's IT! I'm not waiting any more....We're gonna take off!"....and it's BRIAN pretending to be one of the passengers! He jumps in the pilot seat, fiddles around with the controls and says, "After all, how hard can it be to fly one of these things?". It's hilarious watching the SHOCKED AND HORRIFIED expressions on the passengers' faces! (If Joe had ever found out about that stunt, he would have KILLED Brian!) |

I love that scene too! Steven definitely should have gotten an Emmy for playing Brian. I'll never understand the awards nominations process. So much talent goes unnoticed while Ray Romano and the cast of Friends keep getting nominated and win. |

Yep, yep, that Brian is sooo funny!
- on the airplane he had that passenger (an insurance salesman? I can't remember) who kept wanting to talk to him, and every time he'd pretend to drift off to sleep and the plane would start nose-diving. - in the ep where he almost marries Gwen... talking over the Japanese movie, "Me and you and a dog named Boo." - In "All for One & Two for Helen" when he's about to make a move on Helen, he jumps up and turns down the picture of her parents. - In "Friends or Lovers" when he pops up from the back seat, "And I'm certainly not getting any rest back here." LOL!!! He kills me. Love, Wing<>< |

ooohhh. this is a tough one because there are SO many hilarous Brian moments!
One of them that I can think of right now is in "Sports and Leisure", the morning of their fishing trip, it was really early, and Helen was behind the lunch counter making coffee or something, and Brian comes in, like he's sleepwalking, and he keeps following Helen around with his arms straight in front of him like a sleepwalker, and then she puts a chair in front of him, and he just steps on and over it, so she runs into the office and closes the door, and he walks into it and keeps trying to walk. That always makes me laugh so hard!! I think part of it is because that whole thing reminds me of my brother. hehehe. ...my brother just did something like that to me the other night actually. we were at a concert at this club, and we were standing there waiting for the next band, and all of a sudden, he gets in my face with this blank look on his face, so i tried to walk away, and he kept following me with this weird, blank look on his face like a zombie, so I ended up running in circles around one of my friends, with my brother following me with this weird blank look on his face. hahahaha I was laughing so hard. he's so weird.but anyway! back to Brian! I'll think of some more hilarious Brian moments! I know there are many! |

"You know, for once I would love to hear, he was a raving lunatic, I feared for my life, I was just waiting for the chainsaw to come ripping through the wall"! I love that part and still laugh at it. Actually, just the whole episode and that Brian becoming a crazy man due to his suspicions about Fay.
In the "Mother Wore Stripes" ep at the end, when he has the coffee creamers in his eyes, and he says "Ma, it's me, Oedipus", and then he's looking at himself in the reflection in the side of the napkin holder. And yes, there are so many more. |

and I forgot what episode it was... sometime in season 1 or beginning of season 2.. when Helen and Joe are talking in Joe's office, and then you see a mirror on a stick coming over the wall, and then they open the shades and catch Brian outside tying to see what was going on in the office, and then he tries to make believe he wasn't really watching them by breaking into some kind of Wizard Of Oz thing, or something with the mirror.... and then he looks like he's trying to stick the whole mirror in his mouth like a dentist's mirror. hahaha

I thought of another one!
I think it was a season 6 episode.... Casey barges into Joe's office and is freaking out to Helen that she needs her credit card to buy hydrating cream, and just then, Brian walks in and starts talking, and Casey says something like, "Hey! I was talking- I have an emergency." so Brian was like, "ok, what's the matter?" and she was like, "I'm out of hydrating cream." so Brian just stares at her with this blank look on his face and blinks a few times, and then continues with what he was saying. That always cracks me up the way he does that. |

When Joe and Brian hire Shannon to work the Sandpiper desk and Brian can't talk much around her, kind of jibberish. She drops the pencils in a coffee mug and right before she bends down to pick them up and say's ,"Oh no, let me get those." And Brian says, "Oh GOD NO!" and when he picks them up, he puts the coffee mug back on the counter and throws the pencils over the counter.
Also when he signs his name on a paper in huge handwriting. That whole episode was good. |

I just got done watching the "Das Plane" episode and there's the scene with them in the cornfield, and Brian & Joe arguing and Brian is saying how immature Joe's being and then Brian yells "Stupidhead!!". I don't know how I forgot about that.
