Default How many years older is Mama?

How much older is Mama than Fran? Fran was easily around the same age as Ellen, so I think Mama is about 20 years older than Fran.

Well, I think that in the NBC years that it was said that Mama was 65. And I am assuming that Fran was probably 15-20 years younger only because they didn't make her look old. So she was probably supposed to be around 45 -50 years old. I think that Ellen looked older than Fran!

Mama calls Fannie her baby sister.

I think Ellen looked older than Fran and Mama (without the wig and padding). Mama looked a lot younger! Of course, she really was the youngest among the group.

I think it's safe to say that everybody except the kids (Karin, Eric and Allan) were all older than her on the show. Even Harvey when he guested. Next to Betty, he's 2nd oldest - born in 1927.

Woah, Betty White did not look like she was in her 60s on the show! Mama was supposed to be in her 60s!

Yep...Thanks to the wonders of makeup and Botox. (altho I don't think she's used Botox or had a facial lift surgery, like Carol did, sometime in the late 80's)

Scary, isn't it?

Since Mama was 65 when she learned to drive, I always thought of Frannie as bein' around 55, and Ellen about 45, and Vint 'n Naomi (and Iola) in their late 30s, Eunice 40 or early 40s.
