Default Who misses this show?

I have say ever since Becker ended, I have been miserable. The only thing I watch now is the news, Newlyweds, and VH1. Thats pretty sad, cause when Becker was on I watched the reruns of Cheers, and a bunch of other shows.

I don't care anymore if the cast isn't perfect with Hector. Or the fact that Bob is gone. I just miss Becker griping about the world. You know what I mean?

I really wish this show would come back.

Do any of yall?

I know what you mean, Jennifer. I miss the show greatly, but you never know, it can come back in the fall.

My mom saw Ted Danson on The View a couple of months ago, between the finale and It Must Be Love, and he said that he and the network tried what they could to keep the show around, but nothing worked, and he gracefully accepted, along with the cast. He wasn't too mad about it. But my mom said it seemed like he would agree if they asked him to come back for the fall. In the meantime, Danson is currently working on other projects. So the future of "Becker" is perhaps not so grim.

I truly miss Becker bitching about the world, being in funny new situations, the humor, the appealing characters, the zest that is missing from so many other shows. The characters on Friends, Frasier, you name it, especially the longer ones - they've all gotten exaggerated over the years, and ridiculous, but "Becker" actually stood consistent. So you gotta give the show credit there.

I hope it comes back in the fall.

Yea that day my mom forgot to tape that ep of "The View" so I never really knew what he said. Yea that would be nice if it did come back in the fall. And ELR has had its course. Becker would be the second biggest show next to "Two and a Half Men" that CBS has.

This was just one of those great shows that you watch when its been a long day at work, and you prop of your feet, and sip a little Dr. Pepper, aand treat yourself to cheetos. Man I miss the good ole' days, don't you vincet?

I sure do

Becker made me forget about all my troubles. I'd sick back, relax, make sure everything else is quiet, and enjoy the show. Truly the good 'ol days.

I'm glad that "Becker" appears in the morning and middle of the night where I live. Now I get the show twice a day!

I miss it too. While I didn't like it as much without Reggie, I still found it funnier than just about anything else on TV right now.

I think Becker had another year or two left in it. Everybody Loves Raymond should have called it quits two years ago, IMHO.

Me too. ELR is a great show, and I used to watch all the time, but I think its kind of exaggerated over the last 2 years.

I really wish I had the channel that the reruns of Becker come on in my area. Atleast I have like 8 tapes of the last two seasons, I just don't have that much time to watch with me going to school & work, and also babysitting now. I'll find a way though. I always did before.

Vincet, I totally agree with you:
whenever I tuned in to Becker, all my worries went 'bye, bye, bye'. And I was on cloud nine, and I laughed my tail off. Oh' the good ole' days. I miss them.

I loved Becker. It was the best of the two shows that are still on daytime. "The other show, the emmy-award winning Just Shoot Me!"Both are on my UPN station during breakfast at 9 AM!

CBS is so stupid, sorry. Becker was so much better than The Stones (I saw the raitings). I love Judith Light, but this is not a success for CBS.
I think the new series Century City is allready cancelled, right? Becker needs a second chance! I think Becker returns with a 7th season next fall. I'm hoping.

I guess I'm lucky. Here in Illinois, where I live, (not too far from St.Louis MO) there is a network called "WB11". They show Becker every weekday at 12:30 PM

Also, we have Satellite, so we get WGN, the Chicago station. They have been showing Becker Weeknights.

Becker is a classic that will never get old. Long live BOB, Reggie, Jake, Linda, Margaret, and of course, Becker!!!

I started watching this because of the King Of Queens, I liked this show a lot and then they dumped it, now I just watch the re-runs in the middle of the night.

I miss "Becker" alot. All the characters were unique, and had an "edge" to them. The show lost something when Reggie left, because Chris did not have the "attitude" Reggie had. Reggie interacted with Becker better, and her character connected better with the other Characters than Chris.

Losing "Bob" was the final straw. What happened? Did something happen to him, did he quit, or did those idiots at the network decide to replace him too?

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who can let me know what happened to Bob.

I miss Becker. the writing was going down hill though(besides the last episode) and Hector did not fit in.
