Default Name Two Supporting Characters from your Favorite Shows that should have gotten a

chance at having their own spinoff but never did.

Lionel Jefferson-(Jeffersons)

Larry Dallas-(Three's Company)

Two Supporting Characters who I felt were very entertaining but didn't get thir own show. Instead Florence from the Jeffersons got her own show and The Ropers. And both FAILED

Yes, but I'd do anything to get rid of the characters of Bill and Connie LOL.

I think Lionel and Jenny Jefferson (The Jeffersons) would had a good spinoff series. The original Lionel, Mike Evans, would had been a scream to watch.

He was LOL funny on All In the Family. I love his take on Archie.

A TV GUIDE critic in 1975 actually predicted that Mike Evans would probably get his own show but no one knew at the time he would leave the show after the first season.

I would had loved to seen a spin off of Mike Evans Lionel Jefferson; he was a very handsome and talented actor

But in my case I wished that they would had made a spin off of two characters from Barney Miller; kinda of like a Odd Couple thing with Ron Glass (Harris) and Steve Landesberg (Dietrich)..they were great together...

Tiffany Brissette (Small Wonder) who played Vicki the Robot

I can only think of one right now, and even though she is the main character of the show and not a supporting character, she would have had a spinoff of her own show (Too Good To Be True), but it never came to be.

She wasn't a supporting character. She was the main character, but wasn't utilized to her full potential.

Harris and Dietrich from "Barney Miller"
Lionel from "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons" (Mike Evans not that other guy)
Kramer from "Seinfeld"
Louie from "Taxi"

as for current sitcoms (I know you didn't ask about them, but I'll do it anyway)
Frank & Marie from "Everybody Loves Raymond"
